The many women of The Neck and Back Clinics have quite a story to tell. They make up a significant part of the team, and most have been with the company for many years. At heart, The Neck and Back Clinics is a family that takes care of individuals and their families by providing quality chiropractic care at 7 Valley clinic locations.
We interviewed nearly 20 of our female team members to learn about their experiences working at our clinics. Here are some highlights that make us proud.
What is your proudest achievement inside and outside of work?
For District Manager, Claudia, her proudest moment inside of the workplace is getting to her dream position, starting from working the front desk, to the back office, to Team Lead, which led her to her District Manager position. Kelli Descheny, Southwest Team Lead, is most proud of building her career experience at the Southwest clinic and becoming a Team Lead.
“I’ve enjoyed getting to learn front and back office,” said Vanessa, a chiropractic assistant, “and having the opportunity to work directly with patients.” For Alma, a front desk assistant, her proudest achievements include staying committed to her job for 12 years and raising her kids on her own.
What is your favorite part about working at The Neck and Back Clinics?
As employees, Glendis and Grace both enjoy getting to know the patients and being a part of patients’ chiropractic journeys to see what a difference treatment makes. As a chiropractic assistant, Jackelin’s favorite part about work is the opportunity and room for growth.
During her 16-year career with the company, Alice has loved working with patients, while keeping a positive attitude and cracking jokes. As a hardworking, driven, and reliable front desk assistant, Monique enjoys the fast-paced and flexible work environment. As a massage therapist, Reina loves building rapport with patients and hearing how much her craft helps them manage their pain.
How would you describe the company culture at NBC, and why is that important?
Front desk attendant, Zarryah would describe the company culture as rewarding and engaging. Perla, a chiropractic assistant, is proud of how The Neck and Back Clinics takes care of its employees and provides a positive company culture.
“Our team becomes our work family,” explained Lynn, a Team Lead. “We really count on each other when needed.” Jocelyn, a chiropractic assistant, said, “I would describe it as very welcoming, and they care about their staff and help them when asked.” Cinthia, a Team Lead at the Northeast clinic, describes the culture as “caring, welcoming, friendly, and very family-oriented.”

Delia, a chiropractic assistant, loves to bake and cook in her free time!
