In April 2000, five months pregnant with identical twins, Shane Jasmine Young graduated Magna Cum Laude from Pepperdine University with a Bachelor of Science degree. While that was certainly a huge accomplishment, Shane was far from done. She had her sights on a bigger vision for herself and her community. That’s why, on the twins’ first birthday, she began working on her law degree at UNLV’s Boyd School of Law.
To say Shane is a go-getter would be an understatement. Her tenacity and commitment to achieving her goals is one of the qualities that shows up in her work with her Estate Planning clients. She started her own law firm to help her clients achieve their visions and goals, and today she is doing just that.
Shane didn’t go into business for herself at the beginning. She gained a tremendous amount of experience in many different areas of law, including transactional, regulatory, and litigation within two prestigious, national law firms. That experience enabled her to gain the perspective and vision for the business she has created, which she believes makes the greatest impact on her clients.
At Young Law Group, Shane is dedicated to reaching out to her community and offering a unique legal experience under a holistic, non-traditional model that allows her clients to meet their objectives and gain peace of mind knowing that their families will be cared for in the event of their incapacity or death, and that matters will be handled according to their wishes without court and conflict.
“My goal is to create lasting relationships, not one-time deals, and to encourage others to take action to plan during a time of convenience, not a time of crisis,” Shane explains. When she works with clients, it isn’t a templated package she uses. Instead, she takes the time to create a personalized, thorough, and comprehensive roadmap for each client based on their unique needs and goals. Each client leaves with a working document that is ready to be put into action.
What’s more, Young Law Group services people from all different economic backgrounds because Shane believes everyone should have access to support. As she says, “I am passionate about educating and empowering our community to make well-informed decisions – keeping families and business owners out of court and conflict and protecting their assets, loved ones, and legacy.” Because of this, Young Law Group offers services and support for every budget and estate size from modest to multi-million.
Today, Shane’s mission to support her community is a family affair. The twins and their three younger sisters help out in the business in various ways. Who better for them to learn about commitment, kindness, and opportunity than their mother, Shane Jasmine Young.
