Dr. Brathwaite focuses on helping her patients enjoy the best health. Dr. Brathwaite earned her Bachelor of Science in chemistry at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and then went on to the Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California to earn her medical degree. She also served as executive chief resident at Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital-Drew University in Los Angeles, California. After completing her residency, she served as Chief of Obstetrics and Associate Medical Director at Southwest Medical Associates, where she worked for 23 years. In addition to her leadership role there, she was a member of the HPN Grievance Committee and Quality Review Committee, where she served as a peer reviewer, and help to set standards of care policies and protocols.
Dr. Brathwaite provides a wide array of services, such as well-woman exams, pregnancy care, sexual health care, hormone therapy such as BioTE®, and birth control.
