Leverage Las Vegas, a nonprofit consulting firm, is delighted to welcome Steve Weggeland, entrepreneur and philanthropist, as the newest member of the Leverage Community Collective. Steve is a true community hero supporting many local charities over the years. Steve joins the Community Collective as a major sponsor, helping to further critical community programs focusing on homelessness prevention, serving children in foster care, at-risk youth, childhood behavioral/mental health issues and children with autism.
Steve joins the Leverage Community Collective, a network of local donors and philanthropists who share a common vision and dedication to bringing resources and awareness to local charitable organizations to generate greater social impact and results.
Recently, Steve’s Las Vegas-based company, Liberty Lock & Security, a family-owned and operated business in the greater Las Vegas Valley for nearly five decades, committed to supporting an annual program fund to benefit Boys Town Nevada, in honor of his father, Terry Weggeland, who is a Boys Town alumni, class of 1958.
“Steve’s generosity and support of the program fund will impact hundreds of lives,” shared Melanie Bash, Leverage founder and President. “Steve has the most giving heart and is genuinely committed and passionate about helping children and families in Southern Nevada.”
